A friend called me up and said, "Hey Dave, what are you doing after Church on Sunday? Wanna go for a drive?"
I looked at my jam-packed schedule and said, "I think I can free up some time..."
So off to Aldershot we went, to a Model Train show. Actually, the train club has a building out in Flamborough where they set up a rather large model train display. The display is in 'O' scale and, from what I saw, entirely hand-made. It was very sweet.
Things that interested me--an outhouse, a 1702 colour monitor from the Commodore 64 era, the crushed stone factory, the lights dimming to make a 'pseudo-night' and watching the city light up, not less than 2 roundhouses, and the automatic decoupling devices put strategically throughout the layout.
Have a boo at some of the pics I took...
