It has to be said (since I had one previous run-in with the legal department of the LEGO company, but that's neither here nor there), that this page is in no way affiliated with the LEGO Company (Canada or otherwise) and is not endorsed by the aforementioned company.

| On a cold, but mostly snowless, January Saturday, rtlToronto put on a train show! This event took place at the Lillian H. Smith Library. Lots of people showed up, including someone from Philadelphia and a family from the east coast. They drove to the Big Smoke just to see the show we put on! |
| We set up a webcam during the show, which took frame-by-frame pictures during the entire event. The video, right now, is broken up into 3 parts due to a software limitation. The bottom line is we took a 6 hour event and compressed it down to 4 minutes and 30 seconds for your viewing enjoyment. Download them here:
Video 1 - Setup
Video 2 - Running the trains
Video 3 - More trains and taking down
(FYI - Each video is approximately 18 mb)

Of course, we have to set up the show first, which is ussually time consuming--especially when someone (no names mentioned) drops a module accidentally. |

Jeff gets help putting his mountainous region of Schmoopieville together. I had a somewhat easier task--I just had to build a rail yard. |

Jeff (no, the other one!) puts the final touches on his set-up. He then surveys the LEGO landscape. |

Jeff at the controls. He had a beautiful set-up where he could regulate both sets of track from his one train controller using polarity switches. |

Derek's wonderfully intricate train station (with mosaic tile floors to boot. Hey! Who brought the Technic to a Train Show!! |

Calum showsoff the interior to one of his buildings. Note that he uses a 'disguised' crater plate for a roof piece. |

Some very old train sets! Trains coming and going in the Big Station. |

Of course, what goes up early in the morning, must come dowm in the evening. Packing up is a task unto itself. It was a great day with lots of visitors dropping by. Thanks to those that made this event possible and fun! |
