It has to be said (since I had one previous run-in with the legal department of the LEGO company, but that's neither here nor there), that this page is in no way affiliated with the LEGO Company (Canada or otherwise) and is not endorsed by the aforementioned company.
| The following is a list of engines and rolling stock I have put together thus far. I have been inspired by many sites on the 'net and I shall endeavour to list them, so if you see something pictured here and say, 'Oh, it looks like so-and-so's', well the only thing I can say is plagiarism is the highest form of flattery ;) |
Engines
GM Diesel SD70ACe. Pick up the .zip LDraw file here.
See other pics of the 'LEGO-ized' GM locomotive on this page. |
Diesel engine 3, the smallest one I've made. |
Diesel engine 2. I revamped all my diesels by putting stairs right on the trucks. They look great! |
First design of my diesel engine. |
My cute little steam engine that could. Download the .dat file here. |
Here's my Santa Fe 'Super Chief' engine, bought directly from LEGO Shop @ Home! It's on my desk at work. |

Freight Cars
Open half height holding car. |
Coal hopper with working dump doors, again, inspired from others on the 'net. |
Car carriers (made another one). I had to do something with all those cute autos that came with set 4561. |
Flammable gas carrier. I haven't seen this idea on another page (yet). I wanted to do something different. |
Yellow tank car. |
Box Car with a single sliding door |
Large box Car with a double sliding doors |
Mobile crane for putting down new rails. This also carried the railway ties. |
Made a caboose which matches the colour scheme of my diesels. |
Why I need 2 cabooses is beyond me, but I like 'em so I'll keep 'em! Holy smokes these things are dusty! Gonna have to clean 'em a bit! |
Miscellaneous
Set 4541, The 'Road 'n Rail Cherry Picker Truck'. It was so cute I had to get one. |
My first (and only thus far) end stop. I have enough bumpers to make one more. Hope a large rail yard is not in my near future. |
The Railhouse, where hard workers fix the diesels. Note the Magno worker (you can tell--he has a mustache) in the doorway. He loves his job--he works on trains all day! |
Pics from around the Yard

Virtual Trains. |

The crane lifting up a new rail. |

My train. |
