In an ongoing struggle between me and technology, rack one up for the tech--laptop died right before Christmas, so no e-mail and the like over the holidays.
More importantly, though, is that I had to edit my website using everyone's favourite text editor--notepad. Eh, it works.

Hmmmm, what's new... hmmmm. Well, other than setting up my own web server (temporary, we'll see how long it lasts) and putting up my entire homepage on it while I was at it... not much.
Redeemer College University was gracious to host my site for much longer than they needed. It was very sweet of them to do so. However, due to some malicious hackers and other issues, it was decided that I should move my site elsewhere. I will probably write a YAPA about this one as well, but right now I'[m focused on understanding web server technology and what it means for yours truly.
So here it is, Sparky's Space, in all its splendour. For the first time in over 5 years, the entire web site (all 64 meg) is in one location. I hope I have all the links updated and such. I know there are still a few issues with the webcam but that's low on my priorities at this moment.

Well, this took a while. Summer was a mite busy for me but oh well. Anyway, this weekend, rtlToronto put on a Mindstorms Robotic competition and I decided to enter. The challenge was to create a robot that would stack blocks. See the results here.

Finished Book 1 of my EverQuest story.
Removed the midi file off my Main Page because it was so big. I was using a 28k modem this week and noticed how slow my main page loaded up. That's no good.

Started a role playing story of my adventures in EverQuest. It's not in a typical role-playing story format (note the lack of 'thy''s and 'm'lord' and all that jazz...) Anyway, trying to get back to writing because I miss it. See the first chapter here. Wrote the nest 3 chapters! Forgot how much fun writing is! Okay, a note--no one has proof read this story at all. All the spelling slips and grammatical gaffs are purposely placed for the perfectionists to point out.

I had to change things around in order to 'fit' all my pages. Here's the situation: I have 50 pages, lots of pictures and 4 homepage hosts. Adding some semblance of order might be required. Having 10 meg here and 11 meg there confines me to put certain pages on certain hosts.
So that's what I'm doing. You might find broken links, missing pictures or whatever for a while. E-mail me and tell me about it so I can fix it.
