Finalizing pics from 2004
First my Christmas Tree in my house

Then the Christmas Tree at Niagara Falls with Sandy

The Falls at night

Ariel looking a little wet...

The cutest kid in the known universe. This is by no way nepotism, just because he's my nephew...
The city at night--the second pic has the moon rising...

***December 27, 2004***
So my laptop died, taking many many pics with it. Eh, whatever.
As well, the dead laptop took my website editing software so this update is done strictly by notepad. Forgive all errors.

Anyway, we had an 'ice storm'. Here's some pics from around my abode. First few were taken Christmas Eve--that's the moon in one of the shots.
Note the 4 lakers parked out in the lake. Oh wait, there's 5 more! Hmm....
Ahhh, the lift bridge couldn't lift! It was frozen due to the ice storm! Here's some workers working on it.
These pics were taken from the top of the James B. Allen Skyway bridge, but that's neither here nor there. Nice looking lighthouse, though.

Two completely random pics I found whilst going thru my photos. Thought I'd put them here.
The one to the right is for Deb--it's from her birthday dinner

***October 24, 2004***
It was a dreary, wet Sunday afternoon. All my obligations were taken care of and I was at a loss for something to do.
Then I looked out my back window.
Remembering that I've been wet before, I decided to go for a wee bit of a walk.

I love brooks, streams, rivers... There's just something about them.
One small detriment to where I live--the TH&B rail line goes thru and it's pretty close. Other than that, it's a very nice place to live.
The path home. Saw a pair of deer, but wasn't quick enough with my camera to get a pic. Maybe next time.
I have the best neighbours in the world--they all love having bloomitjes. It doesn't get much better.

***August 15, 2004***
Whilst attending Brickfest 2004 in Washington DC, we took a little trip and did the tourist thing.
Not too many pics, but here's the Washington Monument, the White House, and the Jefferson Memorial.
As well, a pic of me standing next to a marker. A long time ago, a good friend showed me a pic of her standing next to the very same marker. Yes I do appreciate those kinds of things :) |

Rolling past the 300K mark. That's a record for me on one vehicle. |
***July 25, 2004***
The mighty Dodge gettin' an oil change...
K, I've officially reached the level of hick--taking pics of my truck whilst it gets an oil change. Next thing ya know, I be gettin' me a gun rack... |
***July 20, 2004***
A more beautiful pic of cameras I have not seen. BTW, I'm taking this picture with yet another Kodak DC120 Digital Science camera--so that'd be 4 DC120 digital cameras, and they all work!
My original is there in the middle--I refurbished it to look a little better than before--put on a new case so no more duct tape.
Sold one of 'em to my boss the other day so I'm down to three. |
The process of fixing up the cameras--By swapping parts around, I made two completely working cameras, one camera that works but has a cracked display, and one camera with all the busted parts on it (but still takes a picture) |

***July 12, 2004***
Look ma! Dive Gear!
Check out the car I saw! Yes, that's one 1981 Honda Prelude! I had a friend who used to own a car like this... |
***June 26, 2004***
At my sister's wedding, I went for a 'walkabout' out back and took some miscellaneous pics around the reception hall. |

***May 25, 2004***
After raining all weekend, the pickup truck was full of water. It's difficult to tell due to refraction, but that's 8 inches of water--that spare tire is floating. 2 days of rain. Yeah, things were just a little wet around here. |
