It has to be said (since I had one previous run-in with the legal department of the LEGO company, but that's neither here nor there), that this page is in no way affiliated with the LEGO Company (Canada or otherwise) and is not endorsed by the aforementioned company.

***April 8, 2003***
I acquired LEGO set #103 recently. Here's some pics for those that are interested...
First is the box cover, then the bottom.

The side cormer of the box
The box is open!!
(feel like Herb Tarlek again...)
And the pieces that belong to this set! Only missing the battery box cover.

The instructions that came with set 103

 |
The extra pieces that were in the box--old style gears and 3 train wheels with 4 studs on each.
|
 |
Those extra gears reminded me of these two 'old style' gear sets I received a long time ago--mostly complete.

***January 16, 2003***
Some very knowledgable LEGO enthusiasts told me which set the fancy white baseplate came from (see below). So I put it together just to see what it actually looked like. It's a Garage set from the 1950's. This set now has the distinction of being the oldest set I own, and the oldest set I have put together. |

This piece has been sitting in my collection for years. I have no idea what it's for or what set it came from. It's pretty old, judging by the LEGO logo on it, but that's about all I know. |
